Organized each year by the Dupont Circle Citizens Association (DCCA), the tour highlights some of our community’s most beautiful and historic characteristics.

From the most modest of beginnings in 1968, when the first-ever, self-guided House Tour featured four homes on the west side of the circle itself, the lobby of the then-new St. George Condominium, and the Christian Heurich Mansion, to the present-day Tour which attracts several hundred attendees, boasts a lavish Afternoon Tea, and features a mix of 10 to 15 private homes and institutions–the ‘foundation’ of the House Tour remains relatively unchanged. This annual event continues to showcase the architectural diversity of our neighborhood and creativity of its residents. More than just a fundraiser, the Dupont Circle House Tour is a true celebration of one of Washington, D.C.’s most unique locales.

This year’s tour features a unique mix of private homes and institutions located northeast of the circle itself. One highlight of the tour and the host of this year’s lavish Afternoon Tea is the magnificent Perry Belmont House–a must see for all tour goers!

Tour participants are also invited to enjoy a perfect ending to the House Tour by relaxing in the ballroom of the Ampeer Dupont Circle, former home of D.C. socialite Cissy Patterson. Come unwind and sip gently-priced cocktails in the private bar beginning at 3 p.m.
